As a Mechanical Engineer Specialist, I independently retrofitted and maintained 9 next-gen design validation prototypes, tested firmware, and debugged ambiguous hardware issues with lidar, Bluetooth, and wireless protocols, leading to sustained changes in the final product. Some of my responsibilities in this role included:
Consumer Product Test Planning: Developed testing protocols for design validation and carried out ongoing weekly testing for several months, the data from which has been used to refine the consistency, reliability, and longevity of the product.
Hardware and Software Debugging: Independently set up, maintained, debugged, and tested backend server hardware using Linux command line and worked to determine and implement the most effective and consistent hardware solutions.
Company Representation and Integration: Led correspondence with 2 potential partner companies regarding the integration of their technology into ShapeLog’s products, scheduled and headed meetings, and tested the efficacy of potential products.
I created and executed extensive test plans for ShapeLog's ShapeSense Select. The device can be retrofitted to a cable-based machine, allowing it to connect to the user’s phone to enable strength assessments, tracking, and more.
I maintained, debugged, and tested ShapeLog's backend server hardware, the ShapeSync
